The Cook Up Presents: Blues & BBQ
The Cookup presents Blues & BBQ featuring blues artist Michael Damani and southern BBQ/Lao fusion cuisine by Saap Saap BBQ.
Michael Damani is a next generation Blues artist based in Chicago. Damani's musical style, "Cosmic Blues" is a seamless fusion of Funk, R&B Soul and Blues, presented at venues locally and internationally. Last year in 2024 Damani performed at the DNC, Chi Soul Fest, and Taste of Chicago, on top of a rotation of shows at venues such as Buddy Guy's Legends and Untitled Supper Club.
Saap Saap BBQ is a Nashville, TN based culinary fusion where Southern barbecue meets vibrant Lao flavors, creating an unforgettable culinary experience. (If you've never had Lao food think spicy Vietnamese/Thai food)
The event will be at the beatiful outdoor space at Herban Produce.
Ticket for this event includes admission to the show and beverages.
All food will be a la carte.

For this workshop we will have a recipe card and general instructions but you’ll put it together using your own style! We will be there to answer any questions and help you get started with how to create a base layer and framework for your floral creation! While you work snack on bites from a local bakery and sip on coffee and mimosas! Great for Fathers & a child, a dad duo or just anyone that is dying to flex their creative muscles!
From 11 -12:30 you’ll be able to create fantastic arrangements!
